What AI-first actually means for a team lead
It's not about the tools. It's about changing how your team thinks before writing code.
Everyone is AI-first now. The slide decks say so.
What I mean by it is different: the assumption that a model is in the room changes how you write a spec, not just how fast you write code. It changes what you put in a PR description. It changes what you bother to comment and what you don't.
That shift is cultural, not tooling. Here's how I've seen it land well — and badly.
